Good to know
This unique farmstay on a 20-acre working farm features use of an all brick Victorian-style home that includes five bedrooms and three bathrooms that accommodate several guests comfortably with a great deal of privacy. Guests will share the 20-acre farm resort grounds with other visitors and staff but will have exclusive use of the home, pool, and patio are included with this booking. If you are interested in exclusive use of the entire resort, please inquire. All beds are king or queen beds. Enjoy modern amenities including TV, wifi and ethernet internet, a business center. There is a dining room with a huge table that seats 14 people. The home boasts a modern chic feel contrasted with a rustic flavor that makes for a very unique interior design experience. You’ll easily forget you are staying on a farm because we spared no expense in making the decor very interesting. We have a salt water inground pool and attached whirlpool open 24/7 from mid-May to September (weather permitting). The pool area features two large cabanas with mosquito nets, furnishing, and privacy curtains. The pool area has plenty of lounge chairs and pool toys. Don’t be surprised if an alpaca walks up to the pool fence to check on you. We designed our pasture area to circle the home so that guests can enjoy views of them through the windows. It’s pure bliss seeing them. The home is wonderful but it is actually the least awesome feature of our farmstay resort. What everyone loves most about this farm are the animals, outdoor area, and the rural peaceful vibe. Locals and tourists alike adore this property as it has such a unique and beautiful layout. The visual beauty of the property is not where the experience ends. Wait until you meet our herd of alpacas, mini-cow, mini-donkeys, emus, bunnies, exotic breed chickens, ducks, geese, wild birds, and a livestock guardian dog. Animal lovers won’t want to leave. You can book a formal farm tour to hear the story of how Charity’s Hope Family Farm came to be. Every animal has a story as most of them were rescues. Our family has a story. This area is rich in history. More importantly, the area has a bright future as new people discover the joys of new-age farming and welcome the much-needed innovation in the agricultural industry called agritourism. Book this home to create lasting memories with your friends, family, colleagues, or organization. You won’t regret it. Please note: We have an attached staff area that is off limits to guests for storage and laundry. Staff do not live onsite and never enter the home during guests’ reservations unless guests need assistance.
Other Details to Note
Only guests included in the reservation headcount are authorized to access the farm resort. All visitors to property must pay guest fee. Please never enter barns, buildings, or pasture areas without staff accompanying you. This is for the safety and well-being of our animals and guests.

There are a selection of exotic cars, passenger vans, and RVs (Class A, B, and C). Lots of great wide shoulders for cyclists. I’ve cycled the area many times with my road bike. Uber/Lyft available. Sometimes no drivers are available very late at night. There is no public transportation in the rural area but buses are about 10 miles away to get around the suburbs and into DC, MD, and VA.
